Installation and Application

For high-frequency measurements, the meter is held at chest height and moved around, sweeping sources with the antenna; window areas, the head of the bed and your desk chair come first.
Peak mode should be preferred over average mode to capture momentary pulsed signals (Wi-Fi, DECT).
For magnetic-field measurements, the meter is read on three axes or with a 3D sensor, at different distances around the source.
Values are noted down and compared with the SBM-2015 guideline ranges; after shielding, control measurements are taken from the same spots.

Care and Service Life

The meters contain sensitive electronics: protect them from impact and moisture, and remove the batteries for long storage. Do not press on antenna and sensor surfaces; follow the manufacturer's intervals for calibration needs.

What does µW/m² mean, and what counts as high?

It is the power density per square metre. Building biology (SBM-2015) treats below 0.1 µW/m² as the target for sleeping areas, the 10-1,000 range as serious and above 1,000 as extreme; official limits are far higher. The two are different approaches.

Can phone apps measure this?

No — a phone's hardware is not designed for field-strength measurement, and the results are misleading. A real, calibrated RF meter is needed.

Can I do the measurement myself?

Yes, these meters are designed for home users, and we deliver them with guidance in Turkish. In complex cases (transformers, multi-source situations) a turn-key project survey gives more reliable results.
