Shielding Fabrics
Shielding fabrics provide flexible protection in curtains, bed canopies, bedspreads, clothing and technical applications. YSHIELD is the world's largest Swiss Shield® distributor and also weaves its own range of fabrics with silver and stainless-steel yarns. All fabrics are sold by the metre; attenuation values are based on the manufacturer's measurement reports at 1 GHz.
Which fabric? For curtains and canopies we recommend the translucent nets (VOILE, SILVER-TULLE, NEW-DAYLITE); for clothing and bed linen the cotton weaves (WEAR, BLACK-JERSEY, STEEL-GRAY); and wherever low-frequency electric fields also need to be shielded, the groundable HF+LF fabrics (NATURELL-ULTRA, EVOLUTION-ULTRA and all YSHIELD fabrics).
